Forensics is an interscholastic team that competes against other schools in public address and oral interpretation of literature. Most schools sign up for events by belonging to MIFA, or the Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Association. There are twelve competition events in Forensics. Public address events: Oratory, Informative, News Broadcasting, Sales, Extemporaneous, and Impromptu speaking events. Interpretation events: Poetry, Prose, Dramatic Interpretation, Storytelling, Duo and Multiple performances.

Forensics Team Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Theater
Last fall, the Bay City High School Forensics Team hosted a few nights of dinner theater performances at a local establishment with a banquet room, and at the school. Auditions were in May and rehearsals were in the summer. Dinner performances were at the Double Tree Banquet Room and dessert night at Bay City Central High School Auditorium. Theater teacher, Diane Bruder directed.
